Meet the Team
Rachelle Hu
Rachelle Hu is a junior at Livingston High School. She has been making art since she was 5 years old and enjoys drawing, painting, and even metal arts!
Over the years, she has had her works displayed in the Fresh Perspectives gallery at the Morris Museum, La Vie Gallery, Inspired Minds exhibition, and in the Celebrating Art publication. She was also a finalist in the Science Without Borders challenge.
Rachelle hopes to inspire others through her art and experiences!
Joanna Yao
Joanna Yao is a sophomore at Millburn High School. She has been creating art ever since middle school, and her favorite mediums to use are color pencil, acrylic paint, and ink.
She recently won high merit for the Celebrating Art anthology.
She enjoys teaching others how to create art and loves helping other people. She is excited to pass on her knowledge and love of art to others!
Tiffany Lan
Tiffany Lan is a sophomore at Millburn High School. Art has always been one of her passions, whether it be with traditional mediums or fallen leaves. She especially enjoys watercolor, origami and bullet journaling, but has also worked with graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, and oil. Her work has received awards from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards competition and been showcased in a local art exhibition.
As art brings her so much personal fulfillment, she hopes she can help others find their own quiet space among the noise of daily life. She can't wait to share her love of art with you!
Serena Shen
Serena Shen is a junior at Whippany High School in New Jersey. She has been creating art ever since elementary school, developing skills in drawing, painting, watercolor, pastel, and printmaking. In addition, she has spent a whole summer practicing art in New York City, studying under several of NYU'S most prestigious art professors and various local artists. From these experience, Serena is very passionate about teaching and is excited to share her love for art with you!
Mina Chae
Mina is a sixteen-year old Bostonian attending Newton South High School. She is an Olympic Recurve Archer and an aspiring writer who loves learning languages and is currently teaching herself German. Mina used to attend art academies when living in Korea, so she loves all sorts of arts.
In the visual arts, she enjoys painting with watercolour and acrylics, dancing, and photography. Some of her other hobbies include reading and journaling, such as making dream journals, bullet journaling, a daily journal, you name it.
